What can I expect?
Numbing anaesthetic will be applied to the treatment area to minimize discomfort. After the procedure, your skin will appear red and flushed, similar to that of a sunburn or windburn. Skin will feel dry, tight, and sensitive to the touch. There may be some swelling. Some flaking may occur within the first week. You can expect to see changes for several days and weeks. Some clients may notice that their skin is glowing soon after the procedure. Results will continue to improve for several weeks as collagen production continues.

How many sessions will I need?

Avoid IPL/laser procedures, unprotected sun exposure or sunburn for 2 weeks prior.

Avoid strenuous exercises that cause sweating. No saunas, hot tubs, steam baths or swimming pools.
You can resume the use of retinoids, exfoliants, and/or acids 72 hours post procedure. Consider easing into your regular regime if you are experiencing sensitivity.
Avoid suntanning and prolonged exposure to sunlight for two weeks. After the initial 24 hours post-treatment, wear SPF to protect your skin.
Do not pick once the skin begins flaking.
How long does the procedure take?
This depends on the size of the area to be treated, and the number of passes performed on each area. Generally, procedure times will range between 45 – 90 minutes.
What is the downtime?
Immediately following the procedure you will notice a bright redness to the skin, similar to a sunburn. Redness typically lasts between 2 – 4 days. However, many clients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.
